FAQs
What’s the difference between an assessment and an estimate?
An estimate prices tree work. An assessment evaluates tree condition and risk, and helps you determine which trees to spend money on.
Do you have to come on site for a written report?
Yes. Site conditions, targets, and context matter. Remote letters are only issued when appropriate and will be clearly limited in scope.
How do per-tree fees work?
The “1 tree: $245; additional: $95” pricing covers evaluation and report writing for trees assessed during the same visit.
What makes costs go up or down?
Tree count, site complexity, documentation level (photos, diagrams, diagnostics), municipal submittal standards, and rush timing. Typical on-site evaluation takes a little less than an hour. Many times, it is possible to assess more than one tree. However, writing reports for trees will slow down the assessment process, as field notes must be gathered.
Will you attend pre-construction meetings for Tree Protection Planning?
Yes. Pre-construction briefings, progress checks, and compliance logs are $125/hour.
Do you handle other cities in Florida?
Yes. We serve all of Central Florida.
