Core Principles

Origin Story

ArborManagers™ at its core is different. It wasn't started to sell tree services. It was founded on a commitment to connect people in the community with arboriculture knowledge in an honest, practical, real-world way, while adhering to the highest standards in our industry.

In every field, there are those who have knowledge the public does not. Some use that knowledge to create leverage, whether for profit, control, or influence. Arboriculture is no different. That's why professional organizations exist: to standardize knowledge and make it accessible, so communities can better protect themselves and make informed decisions.

These standards are not arbitrary. They are created and agreed upon by experienced professionals across the industry. In tree care, ISA and ANSI guidelines help both arborists and the public navigate real concerns around risk, health, and responsibility.

We believe the Certified Arborist should serve as a liaison between the profession and the public; someone who helps the community understand those challenges and navigate them responsibly. Unfortunately, that's not always what happens.

Some misuse their knowledge by justifying unnecessary work, or ignoring the standards to sidestep inconvenient truths. Others resist any form of guidance at all, especially when it challenges their autonomy on their own land.

We understand both sides. But when standards are bent to serve convenience or control, it's the honest people living with the consequences who lose. ArborManagers™ exists to advocate for those people; the ones affected by decisions they weren't properly empowered to make, or didn't make at all, but who deserve clear guidance and a fair say.

What We Do (and What We Don't)

What We Do:

  • We provide certified tree health and risk assessments based on ISA and ANSI standards.
  • We help homeowners, HOAs, businesses, and municipalities understand their options clearly.
  • We offer extended services such as artificial support systems, pruning and restoration planning when truly warranted.
  • We deliver clear documentation and professional letters.
  • We serve as a trusted liaison between people and the complex standards that govern tree care decisions.

What We Don't Do:

  • We don't sell removals or operate a tree crew.
  • We don't upsell or pressure clients into services.
  • We don't side with municipalities, HOAs, or contractors over property owners.
  • We don't recommend work unless there's a clear reason, documented and supported by standards, or property owner preference.
  • We don't speak in vague terms. We explain exactly what we see, what it means, and what the acceptable standardized solutions are.

Tree Risk Assessments

Every year defective trees claim lives and cause damage to property, which many times could have been prevented.

A Tree Risk Assessment is a vital part of caring for your family, business and property, because it provides you with the necessary information you need to make the best decisions concerning your trees.

Our Certified Arborists are continually educated and trained and can provide you with a written assessment of your Ocala Florida trees.
