The size and shape of a TPZ are determined based on the species, age, and condition of the tree, along with site-specific factors. ArborManagers professionals calculate the ideal radius, often expressed as a multiple of the tree's diameter at breast height (DBH), and install visible barriers, signage, and ground protection within the zone.
